Meet Helen Draper
Helen Draper is the founder of Climate Calm™, helping those leading change in turbulent times to enhance their impact without burning out.
With over twenty years of experience in climate and sustainability leadership, she has worked across politics, business, and advisory roles, guiding organisations and governments towards net-zero goals and sustainable transformation.
A Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv MISEP), Certified Neuroscience Coach, and qualified Yoga Teacher, Helen also serves as a Non-Executive Director for Wales’ leading sustainable development charity. Her professional insight is uniquely shaped by her lived experience of a chronic neurological condition that redefined her understanding of leadership, wellbeing, and purpose.
Through her writing, Helen supports those who live and work their values—individuals driven to build a better future for people and planet—to sustain their energy, restore balance, and continue showing up for the causes that matter most.
Based in Wales, Helen is learning Welsh with her bilingual son. Being a mother grounds her mission to nurture resilience not only in those leading change today but also in those who will inherit the world we shape.

In 2021, a devastating neurological condition reduced Helen from a marathon runner to struggling to walk her young son to school.
Four years of research and healing led to the Climate Calm™ Method, to help others move beyond anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm while amplifying their positive impact in the world.
Her books and resources form part of The Climate Calm™ Resilience Series, the first self-development series to bridge climate, environment, and sustainability leadership with neuroscience and wellbeing.
Unlike generic resilience or mindfulness books, this connects personal and planetary change, for sustainable people create a sustainable world.
