Meet Helen Draper

Helen Draper, Founder of Climate Calmâ„¢, has two decades of professional experience across politics, government, and business, leading some of the UK's most progressive climate programmes.

After developing a severe neurological condition, her four-year recovery journey, alongside a deep study of neuroscience, inspired her to bring science-backed tools to those working at the forefront of change.

A Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv MISEP), Certified Neuroscience Coach, and qualified Yoga Teacher, her ground-breaking Climate Calmâ„¢ Resilience Series is the first self-development series to connect environmental sustainability with nervous system regulation.

Unlike generic resilience or mindfulness books, the series bridges inner and outer resilience with a healthy dose of real-world acceptance - for sustainable people creating a sustainable world.

Based in Wales, Helen is learning Welsh with her bilingual son. Being a mother grounds her mission to create positive change for those who will inherit the world we shape.

In 2021, a devastating neurological condition reduced Helen from a marathon runner to struggling to walk her young son to school.

Four years of research and healing led to the Climate Calmâ„¢ Method, to help others move beyond anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm while amplifying their positive impact in the world.

Her books and resources form part of The Climate Calmâ„¢ Resilience Series, the first self-development series to bridge climate, environment, and sustainability leadership with neuroscience and wellbeing.

Unlike generic resilience or mindfulness books, this connects personal and planetary change, for sustainable people creating a sustainable world.
